Term 1: Orientation

Welcome to Bossy. Copy College; this is going to be fun. Let’s learn the basics of tone of voice and copywriting, review the program structure and most importantly, pledge to the Bossy. Copy College Rules. Alpha Beta Bossy!

Term 2: Freshman Foundations > Bold Brand Fundamentals

Earn your Bachelor of Big, Bold Brands. It all starts here with the building blocks: defining your dream customer, stalking your competition and figuring out what makes your business special.

Term 3: Freshman Foundations > Brand Voice + Communication

As a creative copywriting college, our approach to voice development is practical, hands-on and very fun. Follow our proven method for developing a bold voice, and compiling it into guidelines you’ll reference every day.

Term 4: Senior Year > Website Copy

Website copy or online dorm? Either way, presentation is key. For your first copywriting term, you’ll gain knowledge in everything from CTA to SEO, before writing all of your website copy with our step-by-step process.

Term 5: Senior Year > Email Sequences

Become the most popular brand on campus. Aka, their inbox. In Term 5, you’ll be required to plan and write an automated email sequence that your customers or clients can’t help but open.

Term 6: Senior Year > Instagram

Here, social media studies focus heavily on everyone’s favourite platform: Instagram. In fact, it’s our opinion that, with a little content strategy, caption writing and community, every product or service-based business can be a social success.

Term 7: Senior Year > Product, Packaging + Unboxing

Launching a new product or sending branded gifts? Your packaging copy and unboxing experience is paramount — just ask our Product Development department. In this last term, we’ll put the finishing touches on your product, and the parcel it comes in.

Term 8: Senior Year > Portfolio + Pricing Packs

Are you a service-based business owner that was yawning all the way through Term 7, complaining it doesn’t “apply” to you? Term 8 is here. Learn how to upgrade your processes (read: pricing packs and portfolio) from a D- to a solid A+.

Term 9: Senior Year > Finals + Graduation

You did it — you graduated from B.CC! Before you start the next chapter of your journey (launching your products/services, achieving world domination etc etc), make sure to dot your i’s and cross your t’s.
